Ashburton Motor Works Ltd Expands Dartmoor National Park's Isuzu D-Max Fleet
Ashburton Motor Works Ltd is pleased to announce the recent provision of three new Isuzu D-Max pick-ups to Dartmoor National Park (DNP), enhancing the park's expanding fleet of Isuzu vehicles. Since adopting the Isuzu D-Max in 2014, DNP has relied on these robust pick-ups to effectively manage park operations.
Over the past decade, the national park has built a diverse fleet of D-Max pick-ups, with the latest additions including two double-cab New-Look D-Max Utility models. In addition, DNP has received an additional double-cab D-Max DL20 model.
With this latest acquisition, DNP now boasts a total of six D-Max vehicles, all elegantly finished in Mercury Silver. To optimize functionality, the park plans to equip its D-Max fleet with essential accessories, including canopies, towbars, roof bars, work lights, and heavy-duty seat covers, ensuring they are well-prepared for their critical responsibilities in upholding Dartmoor’s beautiful outdoor spaces.
The decision to select the Isuzu D-Max is based on its exceptional practical value, including a robust 3.5-tonne towing capacity and over a tonne payload. Its outstanding build quality and reliability make it a highly capable vehicle, complemented by fantastic fuel economy, low running costs and comprehensive warranty options, all of which position the D-Max as a cornerstone of Dartmoor National Park’s ranger operations.
